This 45-minute webinar, produced by the National Drug Abuse Treatment Clinical Trials Network (CTN) Clinical Coordinating Center for CTN members and the public, explains the purpose and benefits of using the Timeline Follow Back method to collect participant information in substance abuse-related clinical trials. It includes instructions on how to prepare, define, introduce, and productively guide participants through the TLFB and focuses on presenting techniques that can help gain the confidence needed for successful communication with participants.
