This ancillary study is related to CTN-0030, "Prescription Opioid Addiction Treatment Study (POATS)."

The primary goal of this study (which will be done in collaboration with and support from NIDA Division of Epidemiology, Statistics, and Prevention Research) is to obtain anatomical MR scans in subjects with a history of opioid use to evaluate neural changes that may occur with such use and compare them with age/gender healthy controls. Twelve chronic opioid users and twelves age/gender-matched controls will be recruited to the study. Subjects will be recruited from the NIDA CTN-0030 at McLean Hospital.
